Voltes V: Legacy

Fourteen thousand light years from Earth, a planet called "Boazan" launched an invasion force against planet Earth under the command of Prince Heinel. The armed forces of the nations of the planet were unprepared for an alien invasion and quickly fell to the power of the invading Boazan force. It was humanity's darkest hour until Voltes V launched himself from Camp Big Falcon and fought back, giving humanity one last hope of living free.
