Rejected by Denmark

Rejected by Denmark

In recent years, a number of children have been caught in the Danish immigration law. Many of the cases have been debated in the media. Because it can have great consequences for a family if you as a Dane marry beyond the borders of the EU. The legislation has meant that families have been divorced or have had to leave Denmark. For the past six months, TV 2 has followed two families to show what consequences the Danish immigration legislation has had for them. In the documentary we follow the 13-year-old Aphinya, who has been denied family reunification. And in Brønderslev we meet Liane, who, together with his two children, fights for their father, Ben, to be allowed to live with them in Denmark.
