Friday Is Serving Up!

Star chef Björn Freitag uses self-built equipment to determine how the industry manages to produce huge quantities of food. This is how french fries cannons are made and spray cream is shot out of fire extinguishers. In this way, it should be clearly shown how a wide variety of foods make it into the packaging, onto the supermarket shelves and finally onto the plate at home. Questions such as how it is possible for instant coffee to dissolve in the water or how the countless peanuts that are welded in the snack packs are peeled are asked. Cement mixers or circular saws sometimes serve as aids during the presentation.
